Their Vision
Life can be stressful. And sometimes, obstacles that get in the way of our goals can really bring us down. As we grow up, things are constantly changing around us and it can be very overwhelming. You may feel like you are sinking, but that’s why we are here - to pull you back up.
We know that music has the ability to heal us when we feel like we are broken. Music can be our way of escaping, of realizing that we are not alone. The lyrics from our favorite bands and artists can make us feel connected to them, as if they are somehow speaking to us and comforting us through their melodies. This movement is about people choosing hope, choosing to move forward, and choosing music to help them overcome their struggles.
Our vision is to create a community of people all over the world who believe in the power of music. A community where you can express your individuality through the songs on your playlist, where your story can be shared, where you can give hope to people who may be struggling with life's many challenges. Our vision is to raise awareness about the tough stuff, the stuff that so many of us are afraid to talk about. We want to bring awareness to mental illness, to educate ourselves and each other. We want you to know you are not alone. We want you to feel empowered to reach out. To get the love, support, and the treatment that you deserve.

Their Name
The original idea for the project, and later the name, was sparked by a tweet posted by Michael Clifford, guitarist and singer of the Australian band 5 Seconds of Summer. We are not entirely sure if he is where the phrase originated from, but what we are certain of is that he is the one who popularized it.
The premise behind incorporating “super” comes from none other than Superman himself, because sometimes all we really need is someone to save us. For many, the ones that save us are musicians; their music is what keeps fans going and staying strong despite how difficult life gets.
